Is Sitting Killing You?
I have briefly written about sitting before, however, I must say that it needs to be stressed a bit more. I don’t think we quite realize the effect that too much sitting can have on our bodies and our life. For that reason, I wanted to share this infographic with you that I came across recently. It is packed with valuable information and some shocking truths. My hopes with this is that it will inspire you to sit a little less and stand and move a lot more. If that did not get you out of your chair and moving around, I don’t know what will. Learn to take standing breaks at work and start cutting down the TV time to instead go for a nice long walk. It is time to start taking your health more seriously, even if this means just getting off your butt!
